Moonhaze
Lodge Countrystay is a
fantastic English farmhouse-style rural retreat nestled in 6 beautiful acres in an
idyllic location, that offers quality bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation
at an affordable
price. The
many attractive features of the property include a large central country kitchen with
Aga,
high cathedral ceilings with exposed beams, slate floors and pine furniture throughout.
All
the accommodation is modern, spacious and well furnished with
comfortable beds, quality linen, bathrobes and fluffy towels.
There is also free
wireless internet and
unlimited tea/coffee making facilities.
The
accommodation is
perfect to use as a base to explore Auckland, the surrounding area or the whole of the North
Island, as it is
centrally located with Auckland's Domestic and International Airports
just
45 minutes away. Auckland with it's many attractions and the many beautiful white sandy beaches on the east coast
and the stunning
black wild surf beaches on the west coast are only 25 minutes away.
The
warm, sunny, purpose-built accommodation is also close
to
many local boutique wineries, wedding venues, restaurants,
top class golf courses, beauty spas, the Kumeu Showgrounds and
Riverhead Forest and is just a short 15 minute drive to Albany,
which has many cafes, restaurants and bars, the new Westfield
Shopping Centre, Skycity Cinema Complex, Massey University and
the
North Harbour Stadium.

For
walkers and water enthusiasts, there is a public reserve, Ski Club and boat ramp
at the end of the road into a tidal estuary which runs out into the
Waitemata Harbour and beyond and for horse enthusiasts, we have summer grazing
available with post and rail fencing, as
well as plenty of safe off-street parking for your car, boat or
float.
For the more
adventurous, we can arrange horse riding along Muriwai's deserted beach, skydiving, ballooning, 4 x
4 driving and much, much more nearby.
Whether
you have spent your day basking on the beach or bungy jumping off
the harbour bridge, returning home to your accommodation at Moonhaze
Lodge Countrystay to a pre-arranged evening meal or BBQ is always a
pleasure.
